Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy explains how Flowops ("FlowOps") uses cookies and similar browser storage. We group them into three categories: Necessary, Analytics and Marketing.
1. Necessary
Always active. These are required to provide the service you asked for and cannot be switched off.
- Sign-in session (local storage) — keeps you authenticated and secure.
- Session-only flags (session storage) — "remember me" choice, onboarding checks, selected plan during signup and checkout, calendar filters.
- Interface preferences — theme, sidebar state and your own recent searches on this device.
- flowops_consent (cookie, 12 months) — remembers your cookie choice. Contains only the consent version, your Analytics/Marketing choices and a timestamp.
- Payment checkout — our reseller Paddle loads its checkout only when you start a purchase.
2. Analytics
Off by default. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand product usage in aggregate (pages viewed, with record IDs removed, and simple events such as "project created"). We never send names, emails, workspace or customer content, amounts or file names, and we do not use advertising features. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years) only after you opt in. It never runs in the Platform Admin console.
3. Marketing
FlowOps does not use any advertising or marketing technologies. If that changes we will ask for your consent first.
4. Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw consent at any time — as easily as you gave it — from , also available in Settings → Data & Privacy. Withdrawing stops future optional tracking. If we materially change how we use optional technologies we will ask again (current consent version 1.0).
